This year’s STEM Fair has officially come to a close (or to a beginning, for some!) We had 141 projects presented in the gym this year, with dozens of amazing, creative, and innovative ideas shared from 6th to 8th grade. The following projects are the top projects moving on to the Regional Fair in February:
Top three projects:
- Nhi Vuong, “Natural Plant Compounds and the Absorption of Glucose”
- Maddie Hahn, “Does This Straw Suck? Exploring Optimal Glycerol Ratios for Bioplastic Sustainability, Strength, and Performance”
- Anja Wolken, “The Influence of Elevation on Snow Depth in the Colorado Front Range”
Other top ten finalists (in no particular order):
Dhriti Mehta, Lillian Cabell, Ella Slupik, Solomon Charlton, Adam West, Evrim Birsoy, and Anvi Hebbar
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the STEM Fair this year, and best of luck to those moving on!
