The flowers outside

Begin to fall

To fail

As we try to clutch to the things we know well

As they flail

As they fail

We do all we can

To stay in the past

Though it’s slipping so fast

Yet the future has come

And it’s time to embrace

And to face

The future to so near

And the present right now

Though you fear

You may fall

And you may fail

But you will live

And you’ll thrive

And I promise, you’ll survive
