May New Teacher Feature - Miss B!

Elyse Prestopnik, Reporter

What are you teaching? – “Being the Health Clerk I teach kids a lot about staying healthy, like washing your hands and staying home if you are sick!”

Where are you originally from? – “I am from right here in Longmont! Born and raised, I grew up on a farm about 5 miles from the school.”

What do you like to do in your free time? –  “I love to paddleboard in the summer, and go on hikes with my son, we also love playing pinball and lego!”

How long have you been teaching (at any school)? – “This is my first year working in a school! I volunteered as a parent at Flagstaff for the last 4 years though.”

What college did you go to? – “I took classes at Front Range community college, right across the street!”

Anything else you would like to share? – “Back in 2005 I was part of the very first 5th grade class the very first year Flagstaff was open. If you have some free time you can probably find my picture in the old yearbooks in the library (look for Ms. Curtis too!)  GO DRAGONS!”
