WARNING: Make sure to do the following project with an adult for extra precaution.

To Complete the Water and Oil Experiment, you will need:

• Baby Oil or Vegetable Oil (It depends on if you want it to be clear or not)
• Washable Liquid Watercolors or Food Coloring (both of them work)
• Pipettes or Droppers
• Water

Instructions:

1. Put water in several cups and add different colors to them.
2. Place a pipette or dropper into each cup.
3. Fill another cup with oil.
4. Get some colored water into your pipette or dropper and then add it to the oil, one drop at a time. What do you notice?
5. Explore more! Try different kinds of oils or other liquids!
