Nino Gallo Park

Nino Gallo Park

Elizabeth Robbins and Azriel Watson

Nino Gallo was an advocate for the immigrant community and he made sure that they had local housing options and helped defend their rights. Nino Gallo died in 2020 from COVID-19. Longmont’s city council voted unanimously to name the park after Gallo; it will be the first park to be named after a Latinex descendant. It should open in 2023.
