This weekend there is a race happening, the Turkey Trot! There are two options, you can run/walk a 2 mile course or a 10k. It starts at 9:00 at Altona Middle School, on November 13th. After the race there are vendors there, giving away food, and fun toys. You can register for the race in person at any recreational center or online at LongmontColorado.gov/rec (keyword “turkey”) until noon on Wednesday, Nov. 10. All proceeds go to the Recreation’s Youth Scholarship Fund.
