This year’s Emmy awards looked a little bit different due to COVID-19. All of the guests zoom called in from their house while Jimmy Kimmel presented the awards live from an empty Staples Center in Los Angeles. There were only a few other presenters there.

Highlights

The FRIENDS cast had a half surprise reunion! Zendaya made Emmy’s history with her win for best leading drama actress for Euphoria. She not only was the youngest woman ever to win that category but she was also the second ever black woman to win the category. Jimmy Kimmel was a great host despite not having an audience due to Covid-19! Guest judges Randall Park and Jason Sudeikis came to lighten up the mood! Overall the evening was a success!
