“The Day You Begin” is a fictional book for grade levels pre-k-3. It is a very relatable book about differences and similarities. When you are beginning school with a new class it’s always hard when you look around and see no one like you. Everyone looks different, does different things, and has different things that you might not have and feel sad about that. But all we need to remember is that we are all the same in the end no one is any less different. “The Day You Begin” is a great enjoyable book for all occasions especially the ones when you are feeling too different and lonely.
