Mini Yorkshire Puddings –
When many people hear pudding they think of dessert, but this is something much better than any dessert. Mini yorkshire puddings are savory snacks with horseradish, and steak. For these small bites you need a 12 count muffin tin and two bowls. To start, add 3 ounces of flour into a bowl, then gently crack an egg on top of it. Slowly, add 3 ounces of a mixture of milk and water. Stir continuously until it’s smooth. Get your muffin tin and drop a very tiny amount of oil in each cavity. Put the tin in the oven at medium heat and take it out so the pan is moderately hot. Then, pour in 1 inch of mixture in every cavity. After pouring in your mixture, place it back in the oven for 8-10 minutes. When it’s puffed up, leave it on a cooling rack. Then to make the horseradish sauce, use 6 ounces of crème fraîche, 2 tbsp of horseradish and a dash of salt and pepper. Then simply mix. The last part of this scrumptious recipe is to cook a steak, medium-rare works best. Then put a small bit of the sauce and a bit of the steak on the freshly baked puddings. And then you’re finished!
Japanese Pancakes –
These asian fluffy pancakes are on the edge of being a cake, but they have a pancake taste. These are super easy to make and are sure to impress anyone you serve them to. For this recipe, you need 2 eggs. Separate the yolks, and then put them in a separate bowl. Use 2 tbsp of milk and mix it with the yolk. In another bowl, get 3 tbsp of flour and ¼ tbsp of baking powder and incorporate. Sift the dry ingredients into the egg yolk mixture and mix. Add ½ tsp of vanilla extract. Put the stove on medium heat with a pan. In the bowl with egg whites use 1 tbsp of sugar. Then, use a hand mixer to stiffen the mixture. Add another 1 tbsp of sugar and create stiff peaks. Slowly incorporate the cream into the egg yolk bowl. Grease the preheated pan with vegetable oil and use a piping bag to create the pancakes so they’re about 2 inches tall and round. Make sure they are tall, but not too tall that they fall over. Put a lid on top of the pan to create steam and keep moisture. After 3 minutes, the bottom should be golden brown. Flip them over and then let them cook for another 3 minutes. Finally, plate and serve with your favorite cream and berries and enjoy!
