Homemade Brownies –
I’ve made this recipe before and it is a wonderful little snack. You need to have an 8×8 baking dish, and lightly put on some cooking spray on the pan. Line the pan with parchment paper and then spray with more. Get a medium bowl and mix together 1 ½ cup of granulated sugar, ¾ cups all purpose flour, ⅔ cup of cocoa powder, ½ cup of powdered sugar, ½ cup of chocolate chips, and ¾ teaspoon of salt. Then grab a large bowl and whisk together 2 large eggs, ½ cup of canola oil, 2 tablespoons of water, and finally ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 40-48 minutes at 325 degrees fahrenheit. Pull out your brownie and let it cool before cutting. Now you have absolutely delicious chocolate delights.
Sticky Toffee Pudding –
This is one of my favorite desserts and is such a wonderful thing to make. Remove the pits of 5 ounces of dates and roughly cut them. In a heat-proof bowl place the dates and ½ a teaspoon of baking soda. Pour boiling water in the bowl and with a spoon, push them down until they are submerged. Let it sit for 10 minutes. In the bowl of a stand mixer, attach the paddle and cream 3 tbsp of unsalted butter and 6 tbsp of light brown sugar on high. Mix until light and fluffy. Put the mixer on medium and add an egg. Now put the mixer on low and mix ½ cups and 2 tbsp of flour. Preheat the oven now to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Now puree your dates into a blender or food processor. Mix in the dates into the bowl of the stand mixer and combine. Grease and flour your 6 cup muffin tray. Divide the batter evenly and place it into the tray and put it into the oven. To create the toffee sauce combine ½ cup of butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, heavy cream, and corn syrup. Allow it to boil until the sugar is dissolved and then mix in two teaspoons of vanilla extract. When the cake is ready you can pour the sauce over the cake to have one of the best ever little sweets.
Earl Grey Tea Cake:
This cake is very nice and has a super pleasant taste. First grab a small saucepan and add in ½ cup of heavy cream and simmer on medium heat. Add the 2 teaspoons of Earl Grey Tea and stir. Turn off the heat and let it sit for up to 30 minutes to 1 hour. Then strain the tea and leave it to chill for at least an hour. Grease an 8-inch circle pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Then in a large bowl mix together 1 ½ cups of all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of Earl Grey tea, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and then ½ teaspoon of salt. Then in a different large bowl cream together the ½ cup of butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar and mix until fluffy. Add in 2 teaspoons of orange zest. Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time. Slowly add in the flour mixture in the wet ingredients until combined and put in ½ cup of milk. Chop up ¼ cups of dark chocolate and fold it using a spatula. Pour the batter into the pan and relocate it to the oven. Let it bake for 30 to 35 minutes and when finished, remove from the oven and let it sit for 15 minutes. Grab your saucepan from the start and add the remaining ¼ cup of heavy cream and ¼ cup of confectioners sugar. With an electric mixer on medium speed add ½ cup of mascarpone until stiff peaks form. Top the cake with the frosting and now you have a very pleasant and elegant cake.
