Happy December Dragons! This month, it’s especially important to remember what is special to us and how they benefit our everyday life. It’s time to appreciate the little big things because a lot of kids and even adults don’t have the access to all the amazing opportunities, experiences, and learning facilities we have now. Even if schools are not really your “thing” there are so many other things to appreciate like, water, food, warm clothes, shoes that fit, and relationships we get to grow as we grow with them. So the question for this week is asking about the little big things we are grateful for.
Question: “ What is something you might take for granted now but are gonna make an effort to appreciate moving forward? How does it affect your life now?”
Amelia Reheder, 6th grade – “I try to appreciate most of the things that come towards me but one of the things I should show more appreciation to, would be my parents. They always take care of me and encourage my interests. I am currently making an effort to appreciate them more and love them as much as I should, they affect me in the best way possible and they’re truly the best.”
Beaudin Larrabee, 7th grade – “Most things in my life usually don’t go unappreciated, but the thing I think I underappreciate is how much money my parents spend on me to keep me alive and healthy.”
