As some of us know, ski season is coming close so this Eldora Ski Mountain news will definitely apply to all the skiers and snowboarders out there. 

Eldora Ski mountain is exactly what it sounds like, it’s a ski mountain here in Colorado, specifically located close to Boulder in the small town of Nederlands. Eldora was opened in 1962 and has about 700 acres of skiable terrain. Previously Eldora was owned by POWDR but as of recently when Eldora was on the market, immediately the nearby town Nederlands put their name in for future potential owners. 

The town of Netherlands wanted to take this step because they say it “help them expand local recreation and foster economic growth”. If the town winds up acquiring the mountain, they could use it for concerts, social gatherings, and summer events. The move could also attract collaborations with bigger companies and generate revenue for the town.
