Stay home (Nora Wayman) –
As you may know November holds many different holidays and or traditions for many people. And although traveling can be cool, it’s hard to do those traditions if you’re somewhere other than your beloved house. Traveling is fun, but how are you supposed to hang out and do anything with your friends if you’re in a whole different country or state? For me the month of November isn’t about sunny, beachy, warm weather, it’s about getting cozy, drinking hot beverages, and cuddling close with friends and loved ones. November is the time to spend on traditions and just relaxing. If you’re in a whole new country that doesn’t even celebrate your holiday it will be really hard to carry out traditions we hold near and dear to our hearts. Also a HUGE defying factor is STEM fair. You can’t create your STEM fair board if you’re traveling! Even if you don’t celebrate holidays during Thanksgiving break, it’s just a really good time to relax and take a break from all the stress of school. Traveling is really stressful a lot of the time. So in conclusion, cuddle up with your family, drink hot cocoa or tea, do all the fun traditions, and stay in your home town for thanksgiving break.
Travel (Anvi Hebbar) –
Travelling can be a great way to explore, unwind, and meet people that live far away. And what better time to do it than during the holidays? First of all, traveling brings excitement and new experiences to your life. You can discover new things about new places and meet new people while traveling. Even if you aren’t the type of person who loves an adventure, getting outside can be incredibly calming and relaxing. You can get away from the stresses of life with a visit to a new place, like a cool, peaceful mountain landscape or a warm, sandy beach. Travelling can be a family activity, too. Families can travel together and enjoy each others’ company while exploring a new place. Also, if you have loved ones that live far away, traveling can enable you to get together and celebrate the holidays with people you love. Travelling is a better way to celebrate the holidays than staying at home, as it allows you to kick back and relax, discover new places, and meet up with family and friends that live far away.
