Space walk

On Thursday morning two private astronauts achieved a space walk with the Elon Musk own company SpaceX and Jared Isaacman. This is an amazing development not only because it’s a smaller privately owned company, but also because achieving a space walk takes a lot of work and a lot of technicians, Mathematicians, and so many others! The capsule that went into space is called the Dragon capsule. The people that boarded the Dragon capsule were Jared Isaacman, former US Air Force pilot Scott “Kidd” Poteet and SpaceX engineers Anna Menon and Sarah Gillis. The crew that actually performed the space walk was Sarah Gills and Jared Isaacman. They were all in space for a total of 5 days but they completed the space walk for two hours. One at a time (Jared going first) that performed a number of movements and abilities of the space suit while outside the Dragon Capsule. They successfully returned off the coast of Florida on September 15, 2024.
