Brock Purdy, 24, is the 49ers new QB. He was the teams last pick for the NFL draft giving him the name Mr. Irrelevant. 

Purdy was recently interviewed this past Tuesday on his thoughts of the loss of the Super Bowl. He stated that it is an awful feeling of having this loss, but is trying to have a positive perspective. “This is happening for a reason, you know. It’s all about our stories and testimonies.” Purdy said. He also touched on how happy he is to be able to compete with the 49ers, and feels lucky to have such amazing teammates. 

He is growing familiar with the teams never-ending 49ers heartbreaks in the NFL playoffs – suffering a torn right UCL in the 2023 NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
