The Vote
Recently, Donald Trump won over 55% of the vote in New Hampshire. His only remaining rival, Nikki Haley, won 43% of the vote. What makes these voting results so important is the fact that New Hampshire was arguably Haley’s best opportunity to change the trajectory of the race. Especially following the drop-out of DeSantis in the race.
At this time, Trump leads the national polls by more than 50 percentage points with just six weeks until Super Tuesday, when nearly half of the delegates to the Republic convention will be rewarded.
Chance or No Chance
This past week Haley made a major advancement. She won 74% of moderates, 58% of college graduates, and 66% of voters who weren’t registered as Republicans.
Despite these stats, it wasn’t close enough. Haley lost Republicans by a staggering 74% to 25%. Conservatives gave Trump 70% of the vote, including voters without a college degree, backing Trump 2 to 1.
Conclusion
So far, Trump has won over 30 delegates, and is in the lead. Stay tuned for next week’s information.
