A poem inspired by the prompt “Young Love.”
Love blooms bright
On a summer night
Hand in hand
There on demand
Love-struck eyes
Oh, butterflies
Stomach filled
Until love is killed
Seems flowers don’t bloom
All my days filled with gloom
Seems the moon doesn’t shine
Because you aren’t mine
Tears on my photos
I binge eat potatoes
For how do I live
Without you?
The moon doesn’t shine
Because you aren’t mine
Please tell me
How to live
Without you
