There are 12 teams and about 40 games. The 12 Teams/states that have teams are; Atlanta Dream, Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, Dallas Wings, Indiana Fever, Las Vegas Aces, Los Angelas Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, New York Liberty, Phoenix Mercury, Seattle Storm, and Washington Mystics. 

The 2023 WNBA semifinals started (the first game played) on September 24, 2023. The four teams that played against each other were; Connecticut Sun, New York Liberty, Las Vegas Aces, and Dallas Wings. Sun and Liberty went against each other 3 times and in the end Liberty won 2 out of the 3 games. Aces went against Wings 3 times and Aces won all 3 times.

The 2023 WNBA Finals started on Oct 8th, 2023. There were 3 games in all and Aces won 3 out of the 4 games! The first game was a score of Liberty – 87 and Aces – 73.  The second game was Liberty – 74 and Aces – 104! The last game was a very close call with Liberty at 69 points and Aces at 70 points! A’js Wilson scored the winning basket at the end!

All the teams fought hard, but in the end the Los Vegas Aces are the reigning champions!
