What do you like to do outside of school? – “I love to play (run, hike, ride, ski) in the woods and high in the mountains, and also play music.”

What’s your favorite sports team? – “While I love to play sports, I don’t have a favorite team because I never watch the games.”

Do you have a bucket list? Is there anything on it? If not, what is something that you really want to do in the near future? – “I do have a sort of mental bucket list, and typically I only focus on a few goals at a time. I am most excited about a summer adventure for this summer that I have been planning for several years. My goal is to piece together a long adventure on the Colorado Trail, in which I combine hiking and backpacking into a round-trip 1,000 mile journey.”

What’s your favorite animal? – “My favorite animals are dogs. I love all dogs, but the bond that is formed between a pup and his or her human is something truly unique. I have always chosen to rescue dogs that have had a possibly stressful life up to that point, and the process of building trust between each other is such a cool thing to witness.”
