New York is filing a $250 million lawsuit against Former President Donald Trump, his children, and his brand. On Wednesday, 9/21/22, New York General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against him for fraud and corruption. Trump was president from 2017 to 2021 and he was the first president to be impeached twice during his presidency. In the past couple of weeks, the FBI and other security agencies searched Trump’s house and found many classified documents in his personal home. Trump is being put on trial for supposedly cheating the system and doing major tax fraud that he used to benefit himself. If New York wins, then Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump will be banned from serving as an officer in a company in New York and banning Trump companies from doing business in New York State.
