The Paralympics start on March 4th, and end on March 13th. The athletes will compete in the Beijing winter Olympics venues. There will be 6 sports. The Paralympics mascot is Shuey Rhon Rhon! The glow from his heart symbolizes warmth, friendship, courage, and perseverance of the Para athletes who inspire millions of people every day. The Chinese lantern is an old cultural symbol, and red is the most auspicious and festival color of China.
