Super Bowl 55 took place on Sunday February 7, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. In the regular season, the Buccaneers were 15 and 5, while the Chiefs were 16 and 3. Due to COVID-19 precautions there was limited in-person attendance and the stadium was filled with over 30,000 cardboard cutouts. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl 31 to 9, with 3 touchdowns in all. The Kansas City Chiefs unfortunately did not score a touchdown and only got 7 points. The MVP of the Super Bowl 55 was Tom Brady. This will be his third super bowl MVP. Tom Brady has appeared in the Super Bowl 10 times, and has won 7 of them! The quarterback of the Chiefs is Patrick Mahomes and he is only 25 years old! This will not be his last time in the super bowl due to his talent.The halftime show was performed by The Weeknd with no guest performers. This game was very exciting for Buccaneers fans, and frustrating for the Chiefs. There is always next year for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
