Debate: Rose vs. Tulip

Reese: Roses are far better than tulips. They signal romance, especially red roses. It is so sweet to get a red rose on Valentine’s Day with some chocolate. They also come in a variety of colors, and smell really good. Therefore, roses are better. 

Avy: I think that tulips are better because they come in all kinds of different colors and each one is super vibrant and pretty. They also live longer than roses with a 1-2 week lifespan. The best thing of all, they don’t have thorns. These are all reasons I think tulips are much better than roses.
