Alex Trebek, Longtime Host of ‘Jeopardy!,’ Dies at 80

Alex Trebek has been the host of jeopardy for 36 years ever since 1984 and sadly passed on november 8th 2020. He passed away at the age of 80 with cancer. He has become one of television’s most enduring and iconic figures, and engages millions of viewers worldwide with his impeccable delivery of “answers and questions.” Alex Trebek announced he had been diagnosed with stage-four pancreatic cancer in March 2019. Twitter account on Sunday he had “passed away peacefully at home” surrounded by family and friends. He fronted more than 8,200 episodes of the popular quiz show, making him among the most well-known people on television in the US and Canada. In 2014 he set a Guinness World Record for “most game show episodes hosted by the same presenter.”
