2020 Billboard Music Awards

The Billboard Music awards happened on Wednesday, October 14th. Post Malone was the big winner of the night taking home nine awards overall. Some of his awards include top artist, top male artist, top Billboard 200 artist, top hot 100 artist, top streaming songs artist, top rap artist, top rap male artist. Some of the other winners include Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, BTS, Lizzo, Khalid, and P!NK.
Some of the highlights of the evening include Demi Lovato’s performance as well at BTS’s performance. Both of these artists lived up to the high expectations in their performances. Lizzo and Billie Eilish encouraged viewers to vote, be safe and wear masks. When Lizzo accepted her award she said “There is power in who you are. There is power in your voice.” The evening was very entertaining and overall the show was so well put together you would have never known it occurred during a pandemic.
